Cohiba is often treated as the modern Cuban flagship. Public accounts place it in diplomatic use in the 1960s and on sale from 1982. El Laguito in Havana is the factory most often named.

Siglo, Maduro 5, and the later Behike lines are the names readers meet first. Behike is said to use medio tiempo leaf; the exact recipe is a trade secret, so treat flavor talk as tendency, not lab data.
